To: Stand Watch Listen
It's not yet too late to stop mixing religion with politics; otherwise the "other" religions will demand equal status — and they will win out in the end. Keep religion on religion web sites where it is treated properly. Mixing politics and religion dilutes them both.

I respectfully disagree. Granted all the abuses in the past in the name of Christianity, still, where ever Christianity has touched a society, it has left it better. And the voices of religious people are needed to ensure that there is a good moral foundation for the work that is done. In so far as religious people speak to those issues, they have a place. Religious speech is not prohibited by the First Ammendment. Granted, there are bizarre voices crying in the wilderness, so to speak, but that shouldn't be the rationale behind silencing them.
