I have found that sprinkling garlic salt or pieces of garlic along the kitchen cabinet floor base boards keeps those pesky ants away. Don't know why, but garlic does the trick!

Thanks for that tip about the ants! I will try it because I don't like to use pesticides. I would imagine the ants don't like the garlic smell. I however, love it.
