You're a determined homo defender aren't you? I'll try again. We don't just tolerate homosexuals. As a Society we celebrate them! Now the real weirdos are starting to come out of the woodwork demanding that their behavior be celebrated as well.There was even a recent "study" that drew the conclusion that sexual abuse doesn't hurt children.

Society's increasing refusal to punish deviant behavior has led up to this child abduction problem.

Homos don't need extreme punishment. Homos just need Societal pressure to keep their lifestyle in the closet where it belongs!

Pedophiles violate rights by engaging someone in sex, who cannot legitimately express consent. They should be punished vehemently (death in my opinion)

Consenting adult homosexuals on the other hand, violate no one's rights, and therefore may not be morally restrained.

I think Gargantua has a point. All we need to do is redefine "child" and the pedos are on their way. As it is we in the US can't prosecute any Child porn distributors if the child in the image happens to have any sign of breasts or pubic hair. I don't think homosexuals are to blame for "heterosexual" child predation, or that homosexuals should be repressed because they represent any such danger. I do suppose that a case could be made that dangerous sexual perverts gain some encouragement from a sexually libertine society because they decide their desires should not be controlled any more than anyone elses. But this "guilt" would fall on all sexual liberationists.

We never hear a serious discussion of what is really out there in movies. There are TONS of B movies in which people are tortured raped and murdered. I remember a serial killer teen not too many years ago whose father had been taking to "slasher" movies since he was like 7. I think that could be a link to predators acting out their urges. Ted Bundy claimed violent pornography was his undoing.

Of course being Black is not wrong. The problem with the Homosexuals equating themselves with minorities is that these folks have never really had to struggle. As Elvita King, the neice of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. stated, Homosexuals never had to sit at the back of buses, were never refused service at resturant counters, never had to sit up in movie theater balconies (as my own mother did in her youth), or as my dad, a 20-year Army veteran, refused a second helping of eggs; this despite serving his country during the mid fifties. And, the last time I checked, I never heard of any Gays being lynched, tarred and feathered, or scared off the streets at night by the Ku Klux Klan, as my late Grandmother told me some years ago.

Case in point: the Silent film actor William Haines, who worked for MGM studios. Through a friendship with the actress Joan Crawford, he was able to survive outing himself by becoming a successful interior decorator.

I'm really not defending anyone here. I'm simply stating that it's poor (indeed, immoral) government policy to dictate the bedroom behaviors of consenting adults. I wouldn't advocate special government benefits for homosexuals, but then I don't advocate those programs for anyone. And the private sector (company benefits, for example) should be able to do as they please without government dictates.

The link between homosexuals and pedophiles is nonexistent. Consent makes all the difference - and most folks (perhaps not you based on your comments) understand that a child cannot consent to sexual contact while an adult can.

If we're talking about how I act toward homosexuals in my personal life (as opposed to what government does), the fact of the matter is I just don't care. Homosexuals aren't affecting my life. On the Hierarchy of Things That Negatively Impact My Life, homosexuals don't even register a blip. God will judge everyone one day. In the meantime, I'll concentrate on actual problems instead of some homosexual bogeyman.

Oh, I see. You favor letting government policy to dictate acceptance for homosexuality. Not only does the general public have to accept homosexuality-- we have to love it! By government decree it must be celebrated! Their ability "...to do as they please" doesn't include getting in my face with their chosen lifestyle.

There is a link between homosexuality and pedophilia. There was a study posted here on Free Republic that concluded that homosexuals were statistically three times as likely to commit pedophilia, as heterosexuals. There was another "study" (published by your side), and posted on Free Republic. That study concluded that sexual abuse doesn't hurt children. There was yet another thread on Free Republic that talked about a dictionary of homosexual slang. The dictionary included terms such as "killing the chicken." According to the dictionary this term means introducing a young male to anal intercourse. It all depends on what you're inclined to believe. Obviously, you've opted to defend the indefensible.

Homosexuals are having more of an effect on your life than you realize! Whether it's spreading deadly diseases to the general public via bisexual males, or creating new Jeffery Dahmer types by child sexual abuse. There is a ripple effect that you just don't realize, or you're too busy being Politically Correct to acknowledge. I don't dispute the fact that God will judge everyone one day. The fact is homosexuality is creating a whole host of problems that Society will eventually have to address in the here and now.
