This actually parallels a figure I recall reading that the average homosexual man is 25 to 30 times more likely to be a child molester than the average normal man.

This is not all that hard to understand, given that homosexuals report a higher incidence of having been molested as children themselves, and childhood victims are the most likely molesters in adulthood.

I've commented on the tendency for all kinds of bizarre and sometimes disgusting sexual metaphors and descriptions to pop up in discussion of homosexuality and that such mentions don't occur amongst discussion of any sort with my homosexual friends (since I don't discuss my friends' sexual habits), and someone told me off for making the cliched "you're just a closeted homosexual accusation". Of course, I made no such accusation since I believe that it is possible for a heterosexual to have some kind of unhealthy obsession regarding homosexual sex, but I thought that the charge was amusing.
