This also illustrates that the fight for Gore to steal the 2000 election from Bush was not so much about Gore as it was about keeping Hillary's chances high.

Uh, I'm a NY voter...I don't recall Her Heinous ever saying anything about only considering the Vice Presidency. What the devil does that mean anyway? That she'll be Veep and Sen at the same time if elected? If not, she'd be Veep and would leave the Senate seat as vacant as if she'd been (shudder) elected Prez.

Note to the Washington Times: Huh???

Once Bill is gone, all of his scandals will go with him, like swamp slime running off the back of an alligator.

Missing billing records, cattle futures, VRWC, Healthcare fiasco, perjury, Co-President,I can't remember anthing . . . . . . Hillary will always have her own scandals with or with out Bill.

Yup. It's vote fraud and shifting demographics that will doom our Republic unless we make a stand right now. We must win the Senate in 2002 so that we can eviscerate voter fraud (assuming GW would). Immigration is a bit tougher. No matter what we do now, the hispanic population will soar. Keeping in mind that the Cubans single handedly rescued the election for us (remember them storming the building in Miami when the Dems wanted to count the ballots behind closed doors), we have no choice but to court their vote. IMHO, the best way to do that is to educate them about how conservatism is better for small business owners. GW's nephew would be perfect for that role.

She'll run in 2008. She KNOWS she could never beat Bush in 2004. In 2008 she'll run and lose.

"Xillary, The Inevitable Candidate"

Yeah, inevitable. Kinda like death and taxes. And bowel-movements.

"This means that a majority of women in America will vote for her just so they can have their first female President"

I don't think so.

Pat Schroeder & Elizabeth Dole both ran & came nowhere close to the nomination. Gerry Ferraro was on a ticket that lost 49 states.

"she will be on the cover of at least one major magazine every week"

You're right in that you'd have to think that the media will probably get behind her.

Many thanks for the post.

David Bossie certainly knows what he is talking about. His efforts in 1992 to warn us of the effects of a Clinton presidency got lost in the Perot/Media maelstrom. HRC has the ambition, money, organization, and name id. All that is left is the window of opportunity. Circumstances may well result in her taking the VP slot, but after watching her for 25 years in Arkansas, 20 of which were in Hope, I know her well, and her ambition is as large or larger than Bill's. I do not believe she wants to wait for 2008 or beyond.

I believe HRC's most powerful running mate is dependent upon this years race in California. A Davis/Clinton or Clinton/Davis ticket would be very formidable.

Timing is a critical factor in Presidential politics. Due to the compression of the DEM primaries in 2004, HRC will have to catch or surpass Gore in the polls by next summer. I believe she is working toward this goal now with behind the scenes efforts, campaigning for candidates nationwide complete with contributions, re-positioning her image as a centrist with media complicity, and contending with Daschle and Gore to become the party's leading critical voice.

Should she succeed, Gore will implode quickly as the DEM apparatus is already desirous of another candidate, only the grassroots remain to be persuaded.

Should Davis lose to Simon this fall, the equations will change dramatically for a possible HRC VP candidacy. It is difficult to imagine Gore asking her to be on his ticket, but it is easy to conceive Lieberman doing so. But such a ticket would be unbalanced regionally, though so was 1992's, and the PC quality of a Jewish/Woman or Woman/Jewish combination would make to 2004 race a watershed event in American history. Just what Hillary has always dreamed of. Remember she began as a Goldwater Girl.

A win-win situation for HRC, for even a devastating loss would seal her place in history as a galvanizing force for the feminist-socialist left.

In short, watch California closely, watch Bush carefully, and for God's sake, NEVER take your eye of HRC.

I agree! Their methods make them dangerous in 2002-2004 and for the forseeable future. HRC is not ever to be taken lightly.

Should have been "never take your eye OFF hrc".

As difficult as it is to stare at that wellesly witch, nevertheless it is essential to the future of the US.

I am an Irish-American, but should she succeed I will have to seriously consider becoming just IRISH! Sanctuary!!!

I got your accurate message. Nothing she does is insignificant to the plan.

I'm afraid there'll be nowhere to run or hide.

My own theory, for what it's worth, is that she'll take the top of the ticket in 2004 if she figures she can win, and the bottom of the ticket if she figures it'll lose but give her a big leg up on 2008. I think we all agree that a place on the ticket in 2004 is hers for the asking.

If she does run, then Bush should put Condi Rice on his ticket as the 04 Vice President! THat would put a dent in Hillary's attempt to take all the black voters in!
