My point being, that it is not all confined to Afghanistan. That they have been disrupted is not what I was disputing.

Ah but the america haters on the left want to wait until we are struck again before we act. According to that superior intellectual Donahue, we should remain a country that is defensive rather than offensive. Much better to be attacked and then react than prevent another attack.

Interesting too the hysteria over the gasing of the dog, but no real outrage of the gasing of Iraqi citizens.

One could surmise from John KIngs report this morning that government officials have not been given these tapes in advance..which I find disturbing since they could be key in fighting terrorism.

On a side note, I watched them and found them interesting and sad. But someone reminded me that we have done experiments on animals as well in the past and the Shelters kill dogs all the time.

I just can't understand why CNN would not give these to the government on something that is so vital to our national security.

Cnn claims they didn't pay for the tapes. These tapes could have been sold for a tremendous amount of money. So it begs the question of: is this an intentional release by Bin Ladens group.

They are reading emails on CNN..someone asked if they showed the tapes to the government or was this typical media BS..talking head said he didn't know. Zahn said the government had access to some of them...sounds like dancing around to me. There is suppose to be some statement about this from them.

Next time you watch this segment watch how the dozen or so experts don't agree on what this may be...some say might be nerve agent..another expert said can't be nerve agent etc...

I don't know...this whole thing with CNN and these tapes seems really odd to me. Have they showed these to the government...do they even feel like they have a responsibility to share them with anyone else? It seems to me that these tapes may have some really important and perhaps sensitive material on them?

You do know that the vilest of sub-human scum begin their criminal lives by torturing and killing defenseless animals. These brutes laughed as the gas crept towards the puppy. The sick minds who can produce such tapes, find them "funny" and gratuitously videotape them for "training", are not of the human race. There should be no thoughts of "rights" and "deliberation" when they are found. They must be exterminated, with extreme prejudice. They would gas your wives and children, while enjoying the process. They are not warriors, in any sense of the term. They are to be hated and destroyed without delay.

I agree CNN's going for ratings but I also feel any other news bunch would do the same. This is powerful stuff. Video proof of what they've been telling us all along ...... like we NEED proof. But then here are some people (and I now a few) who have no attention span and need reminders that there are those out there who are out to get us. If these tapes don't stick in their minds.........

They only showed the one dog but we know there were LOTS who suffered the same ghastly fate. I couldn't watch the whole thing but did tape it. I've taped a lot of stuff over the past several months just to have it documented. I should have turned the volume off....when I heard the dog yelping, I broke down in tears.

Yes, I believe (hope) Bush's point is being made with these tapes. So-Dammed has scared me for a long time. I don't sneeze at al Qaida either. We know who they REALLY want to use that stuff on.
