What a great weekend!

Sheryle and I just got home after being singled out as terrorists at the Las Vegas airport. We got the full treatment, shoes off, examine the bottom of our feet empty all pockets, pat down search (she was even ugly which made it worse) and rummage through the luggage, but they finally let us on the plane.

Everyone that missed this one had better start planning now for next year!

Hey Dale and Sheryle - we didn't have to go through all that but we did get held up for a little over an hour because of a lightbulb that needed changing ...

So, you were random passengers pulled from the line too? I was pulled from Vegas to Reno and from Reno to Vegas. Southwest screeners thought I was a terrorist but United did not.

I sat next to another Christian conservative who was also pulled from the line Reno to Vegas. They certainly aren't searching who they should be searching with the random window dressing. It's like they pick harmless looking people so that they won't give them any trouble.

Sandy got the full treatment too. Some aspects of this heightened security is nonsensical. Imagine taking one look at Sandy and thinking she's a terrorist. This system is downright laughable. The Keystone cops suddenly look reasoned and intellectual.
