I forgot to mention something about yesterday's reparations rally, something that shocked me deeply. There was a young lady there wearing a t-shirt with a photo of Zimbabwe's thug ruler Robert Mugabe--the one who's brought his people to the brink of mass starvation. The shirt read something like, "Support Mugabe--Free The Land!"
I spoke to the young lady. I pointed out that relief agencies say about 6 million Zimbabweans will need emergency food aid to avoid death from hunger. And I told her that the policy of evicting white farmers is the reason for the disaster, because they grew most of the country's food, plus a lot more for export to other poor African countries.
Her reply? She said that a price would have to be paid to get the land back to its rightful owners and that the Zimbabweans would just have to pay that price. This from a black woman who'd probably under other circumstances have gone on at length about her love for her people.
During his speech, Louis Farahkhan declared his support for Mugabe, and a cheer went up from the audience. It was frankly disgusting. A bunch of black people demanding reparations for their ancestors' miseries, cheering for a political leader whose policies were causing horror and death to millions of living, breathing black people here and now. Hmmm...after the bodies are buried, I wonder if they'll call for Mugabe's successors to pay reparations?
No. Five MONTHS.
Bravo gcruse. Thats the simple truth of the matter.
Unfortunately too many black "leaders" couldn't care less about what happens to black people.
"When civil war and famine killed at least 300,000 people in Somalia a decade ago, America once again sent large quantities of food and medicine. When it was learned that the wars combatants were heartlessly stealing most of the relief packages - even while the country had become filled with wretched, walking skeletons - it was only with U.S. leadership in 1992s Operation Restore Hope that the situation began to improve. American soldiers, joined by troops from several other countries, were sent to Somalia to ensure the proper distribution of life-saving resources.
In 1994, when Rwanda erupted into ethnic violence that killed at least 800,000 people in twelve weeks, the United States led the world in shipping food, medicine, doctors, technicians, and medical equipment to try to save the dying masses huddled in Rwandas filthy refugee camps."

If you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)
Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.
Wonder if they mind if we use their reparation money to pay for the food aid we are going to be sending over there in 5 years b/c the farmers have been run out of the country?
They don't know what they're supporting. And if they do, they're communists, plain and simple. Mugabe's plans for Zimbabwe have to do with insuring a communist government, racism is just smoke and mirrors, trotted out to incite the ignorant.
