CNN's LATE EDITION opened with never before seen captured video taken by agents of
Osama Bin Laden that showed a chained up white dog being gassed with a nerve agent. 

I'll presume CNN is technically correct...
IIRC, I guess I must have seen just a short clip of a dog that was about to be
subjected to these "test runs".
I'm pretty sure I saw this somewhere in the tsunami of reportage following 9-11.

Even if CNN is just showing this for ratings, I applaud the move.
There are lots of people who will be more disturbed to see a dog killed by a chemical/biological
agent that a nameless human.
I (sadly) admit that might be my initial response...I was disturbed once to see
a quaking and dying rabbit in a film clip from a Cold War-era test of
a nerve poison that aired in a documentary by one of our major TV channels some years ago.

If CNN actually had any sort of moral or patriotic compass, they'd at least run a
caption with this clip that would say something like:
"Disturbed by seeing a dog dying? Think about your friends and loved ones undergoing
the same hideous death. Or the Kurds gassed by Sadaam. Of the next people
to be gassed by Sadaam. It could be you."
