This would normally be posted under "Religion"--except for the societal implications of the story.

Yet another reason to close our Southern Border.

This would normally be posted under "Religion"--except for the societal implications of the story. Talk about societal implications: In Hispanics, you've got the most fertile race in America, the second most violent race, and the race with the second lowest average IQs. In Islam, you've got the most violent acknowledged religion in the history of mankind [where competing religions, like marxism, are understood to be unacknowledged].
This could be a recipe for disaster - kind of like pouring gasoline on a fire.

Read it again. These are AMERICANS of Hispanic descent, who converted while living HERE.

""You can be Mexican and be a Muslim and be happy," she added." Isn't that special. Go practice your "MEXICAN/Muslim" philosophy in Mexico then! Where is the ?/Muslim outrage over the tenants of their philosophy that leads their "faithful" to murder innocent men, women, and children. Where is the outrage that teaches the world is divided into two spheres. The believers and the infidels and that the infidels are to be converted or destroyed.
I must admit that I have become a tad bigoted since 911 and I don't want any of the bastards in this country. Gives me no solace to reach that conclusion but Islam, contrary to the converts views is not a religion. It is a socio/economic/political system bent upon world domination or destruction.
Want to practice your Muslim faith ... do so else where is what I feel. There is no reconciling Islam with our capitalistic/republican philosophy. Those that try are only deluding themselves, in my not so humble opinion.

Doesn't "la raza" means "al Qaeda" in Spanish???

Deport them and close the border. We should only allow immigration from 1st world countries except in extrodinary circumstances anyway.

Islam should be outlawed( I would exempt Turks but thats it) and converting to it made an act of treason.

The number is drawfed by the number of Hispanics that are becoming Evangelical Protestants. That is the much bigger story.

"You can be Mexican and be a Muslim and be happy," she added. "You don't have to be torn between two things." She may be American by birth but that doesn't seem to be what she considers herself. Notice she's worried about being torn by TWO things and American isn't one of them.

"One of the things that brought me to Islam, that I think is so beautiful, is that Muslims come from all nations," said El-Kassir, whose husband is a native of Lebanon.
Uh, yeah. Hey dimwit...SO DO CHRISTIANS, AND YES, JEWS TOO.
