MIAMI -- The head of the Miami-Dade County Christian Coalition, a key figure in a battle to repeal anti-discrimination protections for gay men and lesbians, was arrested on Friday for allegedly lying on the petitions that propelled a referendum on whether voters should repeal the measure onto the Sept. 10 ballot.

>I closely watched the "marriage amendment" process up here in MA, even to the point of attending legislative hearings.

I'll bet you did.  Oregon, Massachusetts and Florida seem to be battling for the dishonor of being the State most like SODOM and Oregon is already on fire.

>I personally have no doubt that the accused are guilty... but that's just my opinion.

Your opinion is of coursed prejudiced because you didn't announce that you are a homosexual propagandist just trying the old "guilty until proven innocent scam" and that you have infiltrated a conservative board to spread your lies.  You should have checked your perversity at the door.

>I sincerely doubt that the District Attorney's office would pursue a "one-year investigation" if they didn't think that there was merit to the charges.

The DA's office is full of homosexual and persecutors paid by homosexuals activists like yourself to prefer the sodomite agenda and to persecute the Christians who stand for decency and honesty and charge them falsely.  It has already been stated that this is a political agenda.  You just aren't keeping up with the news.

How quaint that on the same day -- "at the same time" -- the State of Florida's Chief Persecutor Katherine Fernández Rundle starts arresting Christians (there are many other links than just the one at the top) and falsely accusing them and Christians pray and her own son is arrested for possession of marijuana.  How's that for some justice JUSTIN time?  Good old fashioned sowing and reaping just like the Bible says from the G~d who isn't dead and who IS angry with the wicked every day.

The Miami Herald | 08/16/2002 | Rundle's son nabbed with marijuana

BY ELAINE DE VALLE

Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernández Rundle had to cut a weekend getaway short Thursday when one of her twin sons was arrested for possession of marijuana moments after they boarded a plane in Miami.

Justin Robert Rundle, 18, was taken off American Airlines flight 1711 -- bound for Santo Domingo -- after a checkpoint guard found him carrying about three grams of marijuana and a pipe in his pants pockets, Miami-Dade Police said.

He was charged with possession of cannabis under 20 grams, a misdemeanor. Police allowed him to sign a promise to appear in court; he was then released at the airport.

The University of Florida student had cleared the first security checkpoint when he was stopped at about 11:25 a.m. by a screener at the entrance to his plane at gate B11, said police spokesman Ed Munn.

''He was at a secondary screening point when a screener was wanding him and got a beep,'' Munn said. Rundle was then asked to empty his pockets.

According to Munn and the arrest report, Rundle took a ''bong style'' pipe from his left pocket and a round, clear plastic container with suspected marijuana from his right pocket. The pipe, with visible residue inside, was inside a felt pouch with drawstrings, Munn said.  ''It had designs. It was very colorful,'' he said. ``The screen in the bowl is what set off the wand.''

The state attorney and her sister were already in the plane or on the ''jetway'' to the aircraft when her son was stopped, Munn said. Justin Rundle was allowed board also -- until the screener told a supervisor what he found.

''They gave everything back to him and let him board the plane. I guess they're more interested in weapons,'' Munn said. 'A supervisor said, `Wait a minute. Even though it's not a weapon, he still has narcotics. Take him off.' ''   Munn said Fernández Rundle and her sister also got off the plane, but they left Rundle at the airport's police substation.

''She decided to let his father pick him up. I'm sure she's furious,'' Munn said.

Fernández Rundle, who was expected to return to the office Monday, could not be reached for comment Thursday.  Neither could her son.  Ed Griffith, a spokesman at the Miami-Dade State Attorney's office, said it was a ''private, family matter'' and he did not know if Fernández Rundle would issue a statement.  ''She was leaving the country. It is not an office trip,'' Griffith said.

The incident comes almost exactly a year after Rundle was arrested for driving under the influence after he crashed his yellow Mustang and broke his neck last Aug. 17.

He pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence -- his blood alcohol level was 0.15, nearly twice the legal limit, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.  He was sentenced to six months probation and was fined $250.

No word yet if his mother will ask Gov. Jeb Bush for a special prosecutor in this case, as she did with the DUI.

American Airlines spokeswoman Martha Pantin declined to say why Rundle was allowed to board: ``The bottom line is that this person did not take the flight.''

Munn said Rundle could have been slapped with federal charges, which carry harsher penalties.

''We have the option of charging under federal or state statutes,'' he said. Rundle was charged with violating a state statute, but Munn said he didn't get any special consideration.

``He's being treated just like anybody else.''

Let this be a lesson to Christians who are fighting this most foul and evil of enemies. You cannot stray into adopting this enemy's methods--even to the least degree. The enemy knows these tactics. The enemy invented these kinds of fraud, deceit, and manipulation.

The enemy has wholly coopted the power of government in many places (such as Dade County) and is now fully able to trigger a million dollar prosecution of a one-hundred dollar offense if it will advance the enemy's agenda.

The father of all lies has won a propaganda victory here, apparently because in their zeal a few Christians foolishly forgot who the enemy was and unwisely strayed ever so slightly across the line into his territory.

To all Christians: watch, listen, and learn.

According to Clinton-Think homosexuality is not sex.

On this point, ol' Billzebubba is right. Sodomy isn't sex--it's counterfeit sex--just as gay marriage is counterfeit marriage.

[T]his fellow is exactly correct in his assertion that it is christian persecution. I say that only because it is normal to have false signatures.

It is only Christian persecution if the allegations are false. If they are false and it is persecution, then these Christians ought to rejoice for they are in line for a great reward.

If any of the allegations are true, then it really isn't Christian persecution as to those allegations. It doesn't matter if gay acvitist groups are allowed to submit fraudulent signatures by the bushel with impunity. There may be and very likely is a double standard at work, but Christians should be under no delusions. They must employ better than ordinary honesty and care--they must employ extraordinary honesty and care.

As long as Christians sojourn in enemy territory, they must expect that the enemy will selectively apply the laws to their discomfort and disadvantage.

so, selective enforcement is OK with you? I'm telling you that nobody can prevent fraudulent signatures being included in petitions. Virtually all petitions collected for political purposes have false signatures on them.

Also arrested Friday was Ralph Patterson, a 76-year-old volunteer for the petition drive from Miami-Dade County. He was charged with one count of unlawful use of a notary commission for allegedly notarizing his own signature, Thullbery said.

I have a hunch that this is the first smelly thing somebody noticed -- a self-notarized signature kind of jumps out at anybody who knows the first thing about the relevant law.

You mean it's like a perversion of sex and marriage? Who'd thunk it?

In your post you start by assuming guilt on the part of the Christians in Florida.  What happened to ''innocent until proven guilty" in your thinking?   Given that Satan is the accuser of the brethren, and given his inroads in FL politics and media, why are you marching to the beat of his drum?

One can act in 100% accord with Biblical truth and principles and find that the enemy twists trust and redacts it to make the facts fit their agenda.  One can be falsely accused and convicted on those charges.  The L~rd Jesus Christ was falsely accused and was without sin but they crucified him anyway.  The Jews were sent to death camps for merely being Jews.  That can happen again...in America.

2Ti 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

>It is only Christian persecution if the allegations are false. If they are false and it is persecution, then these Christians ought to rejoice for they are in line for a great reward.

Your presumption should be that they are false unless you subscribe to the doctrine of the government is always right.  Presuming then that they are false and Christians are being persecuted, it is a bit simplistic to say they should just rejoice.  Persecution hurts, leaves scars, destroys reputations, savings accounts, credibility, and relationships and we should be praying for the victims of this assault that they be strengthened, protected and prevail.

>There may be and very likely is a double standard at work, but Christians should be under no delusions*. They must employ better than ordinary honesty and care--they must employ extraordinary honesty and care. Of course there is a double standard at work -- by wicked people to falsely accuse Christians and to call good evil and evil good.

Pr 17:15 He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD.

Some Christians may be perishing for lack of knowledge about the depths of depravity Satan and his followers will use, but others presently being persecuted have no problem understand that wickedness.  There is a concerted effort by the wicked, operating a spirit of the anti-christ to change the laws, and the *strong delusion just may be the middle lukewarm ground of diversity, ecumenism and tolerance for abominable acts that is attempting to sweep the mainstream and appears to have fooled even many in "the church."

Click on Graphic:
The Hemlock Society is also about changing laws and proudly states it on its website.

Dan 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

Joh 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

>As long as Christians sojourn in enemy territory, they must expect that the enemy will selectively apply the laws to their discomfort and disadvantage.

These Christians were exercising their constitutional rights to collect signatures on an issue for ballot because they are opposed to homosexuals completely taking over the culture.  When people cannot send children out to play because of pedophiles nor to school because of homosexual recruiters who prey upon them, then the whole culture has become the enemy of good.  This is considered a political issue in Florida and these are political prisoners of a satanic agenda.  The territory is the whole culture which used to be a Judeo-Christian culture but is being changed.  The enemy plays every game of making themselves the victim when they are the victimizers.

Incrementally, America is being destroyed and appears to be at its last gasp.  The homosexuals, the abortionists, the euthanasiasts, enviro-wackos and animal rights wackos are all part of a culture of death just like the Palestinians.  They said they wanted just a little freedom, but they want license, lasciviousness, control, to change laws and to require the rest of society to bow to their satanic agenda.  These laws can be used to bring in worse laws and to enforce death on those determined by evil men to be undesirable.  Failure to stand against the cultural communists has brought bondage and an outpouring of the wrath of G~d in Oregon.  It has started and it will only get worse.

In Sept. 1984 the L~rd showed Dimitru Duduman, Florida and said, "This is Florida," he said. "This is Sodom and Gomorrah!  In one day it will burn."  [See America will Burn" here.]

That day cannot be too far off.

>Months ago, I was invited to express my opinions here; and the home page of these forums invites one to “Jump Right In.” I used the public registration process, was accepted, and have been sporadically posting ever since. How you manage to translate THAT into “infiltration” is beyond me. Even for rhetoric, that one is quite a stretch.

>I personally have no doubt that the accused are guilty... but that's just my opinion. I sincerely doubt that the District Attorney's office would pursue a "one-year investigation" if they didn't think that there was merit to the charges.

These Christians were exercising their CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS to gather signatures for a ballot on homosexual matters in the community.  They have been lied about, arrested and are being attacked by the liberal media.  You came in here and make it clear you are a homosexual and you say these Christians are guilty as charged before they are even arraigned.  That is not just your opinion, that is homosexual propaganda to subvert justice and this board.  That is consistent with the homosexual agenda.  The homosexuals are declaring war on the Christians and we don't have to listen to your arguments and we don't have to try this case in this forum.

It is difficult for individuals to fight battles against those who buy ink by the barrel and videotape by the mile and promote the liberal, pro-homosexual, pro-death agenda.

I will not attempt to persuade you of truth because as you choose to be follow sodomy, truth is denied you anyway.  Your failure to miss the Rundle connection proves your blindness.  Go here for the site owner's thoughts:

Please: NO profanity, NO personal attacks, NO racist or violence posts. [Free Republic]

See article at the top and these clips from the site owner:

"...On another note, I sometimes remove material (and/or posters) that I deem not to be appropriate for Free Republic or, in some cases, not topical for our purposes. Some topics that are likely to get posts removed are threads or posts based on race baiting or bashing, gay baiting or bashing, religion bashing or in depth religious debate (pro or con), calls for armed revolution, calls to violence or threats, lynching, shooting, etc., kook threads about UFO's, contrails, US gov't concentration camps, or other topics which would require special shielding or tinfoil hats, etc. If you are a person who wants to discuss any of these things please register somewhere else and have at it. These topics have no bearing on our purposes here at FR and are frowned upon for the most part.  ...

"...We do not need liberals coming in here to "inform" us or to "debate" with us on the need for so-called gay rights, abortion rights, gun-free rights, or to expand our minds to any other mushy liberal feel good concepts. There are no such rights in natural law, common law or the Constitution. We are well aware of your immoral and perverted desires, believe me. We do not need to hear it again. ..."

Well, like I said. We have it force fed down our throats 24/7 from every TV show, newspaper, school room and congressional debate.  It's not like we don't know it's happening. We have at least a dozen or more new posts regarding gay issues everyday. I, for one, do not believe it's necessary. There is no clause in the Constitution that gives gay persons a right to special treatment. Any law that attempts to do so should be struck down by the Supreme Court. However, every person does enjoy the same right to privacy in their own homes and equal treatment and protection under the law. I do not believe a person should be bashed or beaten or mistreated simply because he is gay or for any other reason for that matter. Nevertheless, I also believe in the right of free association and I personally choose not to associate with people who are trying to destroy our family values and traditions.

I guess what I'm trying to say is just like our God given unalienable right to bear arms, some things are just not subject to debate. "Gay rights" is one. "Abortion rights" is another. There are no such constitutional rights. Period.

You are the one accusing others of fraud.  We presume innocence until proven guilty while you presume they are guilty because they are Christians.  Certainly you must be happier over at D.U. or a homosexual site.  You can have no possible reason for coming to FreeRepublic except to propagandize.

Try www.LiarsforChrist.com

On one side you have a guy getting signatures for a referendum, on the other you have entrenched liberals using their government powers to squash for the first time a guy who is just taking a petition. The incredible consequence of this is the complete smashing of free speech. Anybody from this point on that disagrees with Big Brother may be subject to imprisonment and legal harassment from government pre-paid lawyers.

This case is a great example of why America is no longer free. This is just incredible, arrested for making a petition!!! Fascism is here and here to stay!

It’s important to remember that this matter is not new. The accusations of fraud occurred MONTHS ago. These arrests are merely the end-game of a months-long investigation.

No, the false accusations against these Christians by the homosexuals paying the government in Florida originated long before that.  You continue to lie and make false accusations about Christians falsely accused in Florida. I will continue to remind anyone who might be deceived by your propaganda: You are a homosexual disruptor with an agenda to subvert a convertive board, such as Jim Robinson has said is unnecessary on FR.
