who are too cowardly to serve their country, wear the proud uniform of the US Army and fight for their country.

Hey, RDB, I did not have 82nd Airborne size 15 jump boots like you did, but I wore the proud uniform of the US Air Force. We were smarter, however, because we let the commissioned officers do all the fighting.

Well, sir, I assure you that my omission of the US Air Force from my statement was unwitting. Every man and woman who has served in the US military as you and I have is a hero to me. I firmly believe that if the military was in charge of making the decisions to go to war, the US would fight a lot less wars. Why, you ask? Because it is the soldier, the airman and the sailor and the Marine that is called upon to fight and sacrifice and bleed and die for his country and not the upstart "armchair general" civilian "know it all" politico that is responsible for getting this country into most of its wars in the first place.

Yep. You wore the Blue, I wore the Green, with unbelievably shined jumpboots, of course. ;-)
