Had Gore taken power, he would have grown in office and, with his military background, probably paid far more attention to geopolitical tensions. I believe that, had Gore replaced a dethroned Clinton in 1998, this nation might well have avoided the unspeakable horror of last year's attack on the World Trade Center.

If Gore would have been president, 9/11 wouldn't have happened? I don't think so. Gore would have continued on the same path that Clinton was on, in regards to the military and foreign policy. Gore is cut of the same mold as Clinton is: power hungry grifters. The one area they differ in is their sex lives, Gore is faithful to Tipper, Clinton will, well, let's just say Clinton doesn't obey his wedding vows.
