That wasn't my question. He didn't know he was going to be introducing her, but he knew days or weeks in advance that he'd be hosting this rally.
I don't have a problem with a media-type hosting a political rally. I just have a problem when that same person hides his b@lls under the bed and refuses to make a political "statement" when an opportunity arises.

It was a rally to support raises for policemen. Steve Malzberg supports that cause. It was held last year and Malzberg was the host last year. That's all there's to it.

I remember reading this when it happened. Hillary was to give a normal graduation speech when she finished college. Instead she ripped into the Black Republican senator who was there, being really obnoxious and rude. This event made Time magazine. If it is good for the gander, it's good for the goose. Why not?
Something subtle would have been good, such as "Join me in booing, I mean, in welcoming the only First Lady ever investigated while in the White House."
