went back to the Coast Guard recruiter and he said it was closed. So I went to the Air Force and they also told me it was closed. The only ones left were the Navy, Marines and Army.

LOL, I'm always amused at the reason people join the branch they do. In my case all the navy recruiter were busy and there was one AF recruiter sitting there twiddling his thumbs. I worked with a guy who joined the army instead of the navy because he didn't know how to swim.

How ironic. For the last 10 years of my Army career, they took us to the pool annually and taught us what they called 'drown proofing' techniques. You know, how to SWIM while removing most of our uniforms, including the boots!
