Can't say I was a BIG Elvis fan...BUT have to say I admire and respect him for serving our country...

BTW I was at a YES concert with Rick Wakeman and the opening act was Donovan...25 years ago today...and was there when they announced that Elvis had died. The concert ladted until 2 am...it was a long night of rock and roll...

Yes, he did. He had some strongly-held feelings about duty and professionalism, and when it came time for him to do his part, he did it.

And when he had a chance to have fun and cut loose, he did that just as thoroughly. Here's a couple of pics of him having fun:
