bush has not "made the case" for this war... 69% of the American people disagree with you. And that's "Bush" or "President Bush" bubba.

I'm hoping it's liberated by then, and that I'm watching our troops and a celebrating populace light up the night sky with fireworks. I doubt they'd have civilian flights into Baghdad by then, however.

I'm somewhat skeptical that we would send such a letter to all the countries in the region. This would be normally the kind of thing we would convey through the ambassador or through back channels. It's possible, I suppose, but the World Tribune has proven to be an unreliable source in the past, so I'm not really convinced yet.
The truth of the assertion, that we are preparing to move against Saddam, is undeniable. I don't think it will be nearly as soon as you are thinking, unless we are getting a lot of disinformation about the progress on the new base being built in Qatar. It appears that it has a few months more construction before it is completed, and I would think that we'd need that ready to go before launching something big.
That would also be consistent with needing more time to finish stockpiling JDAMs and other precision bombs that were seriously depleted by the end of the Afghanistan mission. Of course, we could be getting disinformation on that matter as well, but if those reports are true, I wouldn't expect anything before Thanksgiving, at the earliest.

Well... take some of what is written with a grain of salt. After all it is the press. Un-named sources don't cut it with me... Un-named sources aren't right most of the time.

Go to NYC. See that big hole there? That's why we are going to Iraq. Not because they did it, but because they are on their way to getting weapons that could do a whole lot worse
You know it strikes me that had we had a smarter immigration policy, there would be no hole in NYC, and we wouldn't be sending our boys, my friends and my family, to Afghanistan, Iraq, or any other God forsaken part of this earth.
I've personally had enough from the "religion of peace". If our government actually wanted to protect us they wouldn't allow any more of these Islamomaniacs into this country. That isn't happening, and I even read that Joey Lieberman thinks it's a good idea to bring more Palestinians into the US:

Who was it who said nations fight war with blood or treasure? With these new robot armies of ours (UAVs, etc.), we're fighting with our treasure, plus as little blood as possible.

Actually, that was a dumb thing to say -- I was just marveling at our technical prowess, but I reread and realized that it might seem that I was minimizing the work of our troops. I know how many of our brave Americans are over there fighting with blood, sweat, and maybe some tears. No disrespect meant -- hurrah for our brave military.

i wish someone would send me a letteer...even a post card would do...bush has not "made the case" for this war...surely he will before our kids start gettin' killed...don't ya think? The case will be made, unless you haven't been paying attention, in this democracy we call America, the case is always made... No matter what... sheez... some people just don't get it. I seem to remember Tony Blair saying something to the effect of when the evidence needs to be presented it will be. Right now, they are just getting their ducks in a row. Protecting the country is a clandestine business, why do people feel they have to know everything exactly when it happens? Kind of ruins the element of surprise.
