I'm sure he'd be a great governor, but they're saying he campaigns like a republican, very timid, unwilling to attack davis for the screw-ups of davis, unwilling to be bold.

that's what people said in the primary against Richard Riordan, and Simon wasn't afraid to run hard when the time was right. Attacking early is not a good strategy, and I think that Davis did it because he had no other options: people hate Davis, so he is trying to make them hate Simon as well. However, while voters might be skeptical of Simon now, they don't hate him and when Simon gets up on the air, they'll have a reason to like him.

Simon should and will go after Davis ... but too early could be fatal. People still aren't focused on the campaign, and won't be until after Labor Day. If Simon gets up on September 3rd or thereabouts, I think he'll pull this off.

Conservatives have to stick with him and work to help him get elected. Because Simon cut his staff, volunteers and the grassroots are all that much more important. We need to show the powers that be that we can and will make a difference.

Go Simon!

It is truly amazing how many "Arm Chair Campaign Managers" post to Simon threads. Daavis will pour about 50 million dollars into this race and his lemmings will spend 3 times that much, plus the media acts like drug sniffing dogs looking for a bust.

Some days this board looks more like DU than the most conservitive site on the net it is supposed to be.

Go Simon!!!

Thank you for your insight, I don't live in California, my knowledge is very limited. I will refrain from saying stupid things on Simon threads in the future. I read them with great interest though.

It would be very good for the entire nation if Simon was elected.
