In response to the terrorist attacks against America, President George W. Bush proposed the most extensive reorganization of the federal government since the 1940s by creating the cabinet-level Department of Homeland Security. It is ludicrous to create a problem bigger than the one you're trying to fix.
Bush has done just that and the Republicans are bragging about it.
Boy, do I miss Ronald Reagan.

I do remember a War Department being created way back when.......just because you think history began the day you were born......believe me, it isn't true.
As for Reagan.....yes he cut taxes and created a booming economy, he also spent far far too much.

Of course you do realise that he probably would do the same thing (ie create the Department of Homeland Security.)
