FAMILIES OF AMERICAN TERROR VICTIMS IN ISRAEL LASH OUT AT BUSH SNUB
Tue Aug 13 2002 20:25:00 ET
Distraught relatives of American students killed in a bomb attack at Israel's Hebrew University are furious they haven't heard from President Bush or anyone else at the White House, the WASHINGTON POST is planning to report on Wednesday, sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT.
One sister of a bombing victim tells Lloyd Grove of the POST, according to insiders, how Sen. Ted Kennedy and Sen. Hillary Clinton have both reached out personally to express their condolences; while Bush has done nothing.
Another angry family member fumed in a fax to the president: "The 9 miners who were trapped underground for 72 hours were rescued... A few days later you went to their celebration party... My cousin was murdered and you didn't even make a phone call or write a letter to her family."
Bush did make several public statements expressing anger over the five American deaths.
Developing...
On Sept 11th, thousands of our citizens were murdered by Islamic terrorists. In this bombing, five more citizens were murdered by Islamic terrorists. We are at war with Islamic terrorists.
This killing of innocent Americans will keep occurring, unless we hit back at these guys, and I don't care in whose borders they live. We are the big kid on the block, and we better start protecting our citizens.
And as far as those who say,"Well, where would you like them to hit?" my taxes are paying for a lot of high priced spys, gadgetry, and military hardware, that better know where these targets are.
We need to stop pussyfooting around in the Mideast. It took ages for us to stop dealing with Arafat, and that's a good first step. But the Islamofascists have yet to feel our sting, in my opinion.
Well, that's definately not because of anything I said. Some people here have issues when it comes to Jews and loyalty, so perhaps that's where the whole misunderstanding about me allegedly wanting us to do Israel came in.
I am all for cutting off aid to the Palestinians if that is what it takes. I do believe, however, that there are diplomatic difficulties involved in doing this, not to mention the innocent people who would be harmed.
I think that the diplomatic difficulties you speak of are the same diplomatic difficulties that do not allow Bush to speak the truth on Saudi Arabia.
One thing I have learned, and that is that things are not always done on television in this administration. Sharon seems to be happy with President Bush.
So do I.
That's about the only thing you have gotten right tonight BGP. I don't want to play word games with you. Why don't you tell me what you expect the President to do and then we'll discuss it, okay?
Otherwise, its getting a bit tedious.
Once Saddam is deposed BIIIIIIIIIIIG changes will be coming... I predict Israeli-Syrian War, and the Saudis will be toppled from the inside.
Why not? The argument is totally valid. I worked there and it always ocurred to me that I might have been doing something very foolish. I left New York on September 8th, 2001. I guess I'm stupid.
That's still one more then you.

Why don't you actually read my posts. As I have posted several times on this very thread, I think we should stop sending "aid" to Palestinians.
Otherwise, its getting a bit tedious.
Try reading my posts next time. This is the 3rd or the 4th time I am repeating myself.
The reason people have "misunderstood" you is for one of two reasons. Either you didn't make yourself clear in the beginning or you weasled out in the end.
I vote for number 2.
And by the way, I have been a supporter of Israel for probably longer than you've been alive.
You don't even have to work at making a damn fool out of yourself, it comes natural.
Read again in the full context. I said that nothing was done after the americans were killed. Someone said that Bush mentioned the incident in his speech and that he was "Angry" to which I replied that no one is shaking in their boots over that.
People don't shake in their boots because the US pulls 200 million stinking dollars out of their purse.
You'll have to admit that merely mentioning that you are "angry" over it, and actually pulling out $200 million are 2 completely different things. Or are they one and the same?
The reason people have "misunderstood" you is for one of two reasons. Either you didn't make yourself clear in the beginning or you weasled out in the end.
Weasled out? Out of what? As history has showed, and as everyone knows, Israel is fully capable of solving problems militarily. I thought it would be reasonable that we do more then just mention our anger in a speech. Was I being ureasonable?
And by the way, I have been a supporter of Israel for probably longer than you've been alive.
And that's relevant to americans being murdered and us being merely "angry" in a speech, how?
You leaped before you looked and you've been backtracking ever since accusing Bush of treating the Americans killed in Israel differently than Americans killed at home.
People don't shake in their boots because you withold some money from them. People shake in their boots when they are intimidated by force. You and I both know it except you've got too much invested to admit it. See ya.
