This article totally demolishes all pretenses of "moral equivalence" and why "multiculturalism" isn't always such a good thing. This is required reading next time you debate with someone who says the US is "just as guilty" as the terrorists or that it's "racist" to attack Arab culture.

It is interesting when people criticize the West saying it is some inferior cesspool rife with everything bad and corruptable! While true there are some things that could be better, the actuality is life in the West is infinitely better than anything offered in the Islamic nations! There is really no comparison.

Yet they continuously say that the US (essentially an amalgamation of everything not Islam, meaning by saying 'US' they also implicitly include Israel, the UK etc) is a 'bad place' to live, do bad things to their women etc. I acutally read this arabic rag that was saying Jews use the blood of infants in their ceremonies!!!!!!!!!!

However this is what i find to be totally ironic: If the West is so 'abhorable' then why do they clamor over each other to get here?

Think of it ...if the US is a veritable HELL then why come over here? Their logic does not make an iota of sense when you think of it!

I consider myself a Christian, meaning that i have my beliefs when it comes to hell. I do not think you would see me telling others about the love of God and his mercy, and yet see me packing my stuff saying i am trying to apply for a Visa to hell! These guys go around saying that America is this and America is that; that it is the 'great Satan, that it is rife with corruption, with blood letting, that we do atrocious things to our women (which i find hilarious when i consider the source), that we are inferior.

And then these same guys send their kids to the US so that they can have a better life!

I really do not think one can have it both ways.

Actually this reminds me of this program i was watching at the peak of the Afghanistan battle where this reporter went to Pakistan and Saudi arabia and interviewed those who were willing to come on camera. The reporter went to this Pakistani girls school and they were spouting forth rhetoric against the US and saying UBL is their 'champion.' Yet at the end of their diatribes the girls were asked how many would want to come to the US and virtually all put up their hands!

Now that is something i find to be quite funny!

You cannot say you hate Spaghetti and the go into Spaghetti Warehose and order a bucket of Spaggs!

There is a word for such people: hypocrite!
