I swear, Teri [Hatcher] gets older looking with each successive commercial.

Tell me about it. Back when she was in that Superman show on ABC and in Seinfeld episodes, she was the Bomb.

On topic, Carrot Top should be blacklisted from TV, period.

Do you get the feeling, by all our replies, that the advertising world could use these two?

Also the "I take Viagra" commercials done by Rafael "Viagra-man" Palmeiro.

I've never seen that one, but the one with Mark Martin (NASCAR driver) is pretty good. "Who were you expecting... Bob Dole?" LOL!

One of the worst ads that I've ever seen was the first commercial for "Viacreme" with those two women discussing their libidos in monotone. Thankfully, the ad is gone - at least in my viewing area. Blech.

Good call. I would nominate Cal Worthington but for the fact that he made those PSAs to help stop that Anti-SUV legislation... that makes him a good guy in my book. I miss his dog, SPOT...

I think the Howie 'n' Teri commercials are cute. I cast a vote for Carrot Top and for the PSAs on radio. There's one that plays on WLW online that drives me nuts. It's fakey-catchy at first, singing about how to make "watered down milk." Then a woman comes on and lectures us about how some poor people have to water down their powdered milk to make it go farther - they can't even afford powdered milk. Then she says "The sooner you believe it, the sooner we can end it." Call me a big rich jerk, but I don't buy it, not with the food stamps, WIC, school lunches and soup kitchens in this country.

I'm not as up to speed on classic TV as I thought, apparently. Who are those people?

Anyway, there's this annoying, whiny guy named Ray Vincent who does radio and TV ads around here for American Loan Mortgage, which is into debt consolidation. Ray always goes on about how people should call now while interest rates are low!

I wouldn't be surprised if Carrot Top was his illegitimate son.

I don't know what happened to the female of the couple but the guy is Giles, the watcher on "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer".

That's Darrin and Samantha Stephens, from Bewitched. He was an advertising executive, who always managed to come up with really catchy ad slogans.

That guy can't still be around can he. Spot was a Tiger or Lion wasn't he? He was on TV all the time when I lived is S Cal. When I moved to N Cal. in 79 I thought good, I won't have to listen to him anymore. Then he Bought a dealership in N cal and had to suffer through him again.

"How about the guy that does the Oxy Clean, and the dent remover commercials?"

He gets my vote. Someone needs to slap him in the face.

Matthew Lesko - especially if you're a night owl.

The truth.com commercials are sensationalist pieces of garbage that kids laugh at.

Any commercial promoting the evening news on any of the networks.

"Speaking of oxyclean, has anybody ever bought it? Does it work that well?"

We used it to restore the "new cedar look" on our deck and it worked quite well.

She seems to be one of those victims of anorexia, starving herself to be slim enough. I blame it on Callista Flockhart!

I've only seen a couple of Bewitched episodes in my life. They were in color and I remember Samantha as a long-haired blonde. Your B&W pic threw me and the fact that there were two Darrins over the course of the series probably didn't help, either. :^)

The first time I saw Sela Ward was in a comedy called "Rustler's Rhapsody" with Tom Berringer. Funny flick.
I always wanted to see her again and I think it took ten years.

Cal was in Arizona about 20-some years ago...I remember his commercials..they had a catchy tune "If you want a new car, Go See Cal", but it sounded like they were singing "Pussy Cal"... can STILL hear that jingle !!

Has anyone mentioned the two broads eating yogurt and comparing it to certain types of "good times?" There's a new one now where they're doing the same schtick while driving around in a convertible.
