Makes no difference. Torricelli will be re-elected. Why? Because NJ Republicans are DUMB. Remember what I predicted about Bret Shundler came to pass. He lost because he was too "good" to call up Howard Stern for a few minutes. Howard's endorsement would have given a few hundred thousand extra votes to Shundler and today he would have been governor of NJ. Forrester will make the SAME mistake. He will think he can win without Howard. He will be WRONG. And like Shundler, come November we can also call him a LOSER.

When will they EVER learn?

- His speech isn't posted here, only that one sentence. Why rush to judgement? If you have access to more material than whats posted here, please post it.

Here's another interesting reference to the Torch and the Muslim vote in the '96 election. Click here. Apparently, according to this source, the Torch got 96% of registered Muslim voters. The really interesting thing here, though, is not so much the article as it is the article's source. Torricelli has some interesting folks sucking up to him. Does the Washington Report on Middle Eastern Affairs ring any bells? It should. They're the group staffed by former Foggy Bottomites who have warm and fuzzy feelings for Palestinian terrorists.

Torricelli is evidently another Leftist pig who thinks that America doesn't have anything to offer but has plenty to "learn" from glorious Islam, from North Korea, from Cuba, from the paradise that is now Africa.

opposite - we are smarter than you - how modest is that?

Might not be modest, but it's certainly true. People who pretend to be something they aren't make my skin crawl. The hell with modesty. If you don't want to say you are smarter than someone else, when it is true, then don't bring it up in the first place. Only liars, better known as politicians, do that.

With this quote, I think you may be wrong.

I consider a Lincoln Chafee switch to be VERY probable after the `02 elections, so we need 2 setas to keep the majority.

Saw the actually film on on this guy on O'Reilly.
Very, very damaging.
Gee, I wonder why no other networks are running this?
Another sad example of left-wing media bias.
Thank God for FoxNews.

""America has little to teach and much to learn." I assume the Torch was talking about the legendary abilities of arabs to extort graft?

"...and, for the audience hearing these remarks, he got down on his knees to take it."

I guess as long as he was facing East it was ok.

Of course we have much to learn. Everybody does. But by adding the phrase "little to teach," it becomes more than just a modest statement....it becomes an anti-American statement.

"Sen. Torricelli to Muslim Extremists: 'America Has Little to Teach and Much to Learn'"

Damn Right! Sen. Torricelli statement is 100% TRUE!!!

Who among us has the Knowledge and Skills necessary to crash a loaded passenger jet into the Twin Towers? Who among us knows how to strap on an explosive pack - seek out innocent life, then blow it all to Kingdom Come??? Can we mere Americans begin to know how to set-up a TV Broadcast of slitting a persons throat? The list can go on, and on.

We should ALL thank the good Senator for his keen insights and observations.

This so called Religion of Peace has a REAL PANT LOAD to teach us Americans.

Give me a break. You're right about one thing, we do need to show some intelligence when dealing with slimy, weasles who don't hesitate to defame our nation and countrymen (anything for a dime). We also need to display intelligence in recognizing slimy weasles who leap to defend such outrageous nonsense.

Torricelli was the featured speaker at the October 1993 conference of the American Muslim Council and the United Association for Studies and Research of Herndon, Virginia. The first was then supporting HAMAS and had close ties to Shaykh Omar who was tied into the first trade towers bombing, which occurred in 1993. The second had already achieved notoriety for its support of terrorist elements abroad; it had come to the attention of the FBI, but politically correct, the Feds allowed them to operate freely until earlier this year.

Torricelli will do anything for votes, including pandering to American enemies in the Middle East and Central America. He helped weaken the CIA in the mid 1990s, and truly does not deserve a place in the Senate of the United States.

It isn't only that NJ has such low standards, it's that the voter fraud is so well established.
