Most of the liberals I know will not eat watermelon as eating watermelon might appear to be pc or even a hate crime.

So in my limited view, eating watermelon is a conservative thing done by those secure in life and not worried about PC appearances.

Excuses, excuses... $;-)

Are you going to be here in Florida in October for the Sawgrass Rebellion event? It would be a pleasure to meet you. AAABEST has been burning the candle at both ends assisting with that, and many, many FReeper are going to be there, myself included.

It's okay, watermelon is too good to waste on PCers, anyway. ;^)

Morning!!! Sen. Gordon Smith was in Medford today and interviewed on KCMX. Next week he hopes to have President Bush here to view the damage this fire has caused. As Sen. Smith said, "this is ground zero" in this battle. From the last report of the meeting (sorry...I've had a 2 day blinding migrane and could not drive!)even the enviro freaks are willing now to talk about thinning. A proposal was made by Jackson County Commissioner Ric Holt to recover the burned timber and use it to fund the schools so the liberals can stop taxing us to death!!! Smith seems hopeful that this situations is going to change. He says he sees no problem in the house, but a few senators need their mind changed....PLEASE send your senator the interview with the helicopter pilot. He discussed it this morning and wants to push that notion that the USFS is NOT working in anyone's interest. Smith said they "let" Daschle's recent exemption for SD for thinning go through so they could "prove" the need for all of Western States and that the biggest problem with the eastern senators is that none of their land is federally owned like MOST of ours is and they just can't relate.

It's terribly hot today and supposed to reach 110. Pray for rain. I fear the Lord is tired of listening to this sinner.

Wildfire causes closure of Oregon Coast Highway

Tuesday, August 13, 2002
From the Associated Press

MANZANITA - A small wildfire temporarily forced authorities to close the Oregon Coast Highway at Neahkahnie Mountain this morning, but single-lane traffic is now moving through the area.

The fire is about four miles north of Manzanita, between U-S 101 and the ocean. No houses or other structures are threatened, but steep terrain and strong winds are making firefighting difficult.

Dave Wells, a spokesman for the Oregon Department of Forestry, says the fire jumped the highway briefly last night, but it's now being kept west of the highway. Wells says firefighters hope to contain the fire by early this afternoon.

Officials suspect the fire may have been caused by people setting off fireworks.

Great thanks to the Oregon Watermelon Ba$tards, there may be no safe place to visit Oregon for vacation this year until the winter monsoons come up. We were just discussing this as option last night if Gold Beach/Brookings are all smokey or worse next month.

These Watermelon Ba$tard agenda fires have to be devastating the Oregon tourist business. Of course that is what they really want.

Can you ask the hosting service to send you a complete list of all the URL's used under your name. Then edit that list and return to them? I'm just making this up, but it sounds good to me :). Or just have them cancel the 50 oldest entries or a percentage?

No, I will not be able to make it. I will try to be part of it out here. Either at the start in Klamath Falls or down here in Kalifornia before it goes across to Utah and on east.

AAA and you Floriduh people are doing a great job on this project.

As conservatives, we have to join arms in containing and then destroying these Green Jihadists who would destroy our country, our homes, our businesses and our families.

They have so really good fairly new drugs for migraine. If you haven't tried them, you might want to.

The Watermelon Ba$tards are filing briefs in the Oregon and Kali courts as these fires are still burning to prevent logging in the areas that burned last year and this year.

They are not relaxing one damn bit or easing up re their no logging anything concepts.

Oregon needs to start removing these logs as soon as the fires are stopped and it is safe to go in. The Oregon economy is about become like the Cuban economy thanks to Taxingov, Andy Kerr and the really vile Green Jihadists.

Thousands of unemployed men and women would be hired by private companies at no cost to federal and state tax payers to harvest these dead trees before they burn again next year or the years afters.

The schools would get a shot in the arm from the taxes approved on the books for the harvested timber.

There is a need for that timber on the market right now.

It is time for Oregonians to get serious about ridding the state of their illegal control of the forests and lands around the forests. Send all of these Watermelon Ba$tards to Cuba, N. Korea or ChiCom land and let them manage their enviroments. They serve zero useful purpose in Oregon and America.

Take care of yourself and try one of the new drugs for migraine. They work.

You should post a personal vanity under this title:

It's the Pseudosemineoconservatives that really get under my skin!

Then just have "Your comments please!"

Then set back and laugh as the battles commence!:)

Gramps, I've tried it all. Because of other problems, they just make me worse. Anyway forget that, I'm fine. I only get them every few weeks along with the loss of field of vision which is the most frustrating and it's gone on SO many years, that I just work it into my life...not easy some times. It's a good excuse for my poor computer skills. :<)

It's past time for Oregon to rid itself of a bunch of nare-do-wells. Like the lawyer that was just on Lars Larson praising a $14.00 per hour minimum living wage in Ashland. Ironically, the same guy who helped screw me out of my land 12 years ago. Small world, ain't it?
