"We gonna be good tonight?"
So that's where you were yesterday; getting the reform treatment! I think if we put our heads together we can get you back in the groove. This corner is lonesome!

Hey COB1,
I was watching PBS the other night (don't spread that around) and they had a special on how the Texas capitol building came into being. It was a fascinating story - imagine my surprise to learn that Chicagoans played a major role and that through a transfer of land to these Chicagoans as payment for "architecting" and building the thing, developed the XIT ranch. I was, quite frankly, embarrassed that I did not know all of this. And I stayed awake all through Texas history class.
Texas is such a wonderful place with so many larger than life people and so many good stories. I love my roots.

The flag is just east of Sonora - just out of town on I-10. So if the interstate is going east and west, the flag is on the south side. (Am I right, Coby?) My sense of direction is not that great! There was someone else (dittomom?) who had seen the flag when she took her kids to camp, I think.

lod,
I've finally figured out why T-Sips have that goofy finger sign - they can pick both sides of their nose at the same time. Very efficient. We Aggies use opposable thumbs. Less efficient, but at least you can breathe out of the other side of your nose. Gig 'Em -- E

Please take this in the most loving of ways, but I'd rather be able to pick my nose and sit down, than have the College Station enduced hemorrhoids which will not allow me to be seated during a football game.
You want some some of me, momma? ;-)
Folks who are not from Texas: take none of this to heart. This is personal. This is Texas. We live with with it and we love it. JL
