One of my neighbors feral cats paid me a visit this morning. I opened the kitchen door to check the weather and when I did she darted in and sat down and stared at the fridge. I diced some ham and gave it to her and then sent her on her way. I have a soft spot for animals.

I like animals too, but don't think living on the streets is any kind of life for them. About like everything else, it ticks me off when people choose to be irresponsible and others (stray cats and dogs, in this case) have to suffer.

seriously, do you realize how quickly you can kill an animal by feeding it ham/pork? I have heard of many a dog being brought into the vet's emergency room because of that.
