I am pretty certain that other hijacker teams were aboard other aircraft but their flights never left the ground. We will never know how many lives the Bush Administration and the FAA saved by immediately grounding all airplanes that day. Personally I think that they had a whole day of terror planned.

Personally I think that they had a whole day of terror planned.Imagine if they had hit the Pentagon harder, destroyed Congress and killed our President --and those are just the plans we know about that failed all for Hour 1 of Day 1. It's quite obvious they meant to do far more damage than they did, it seems that by Day 3 at least we could have seen some Arab or Iraqi or Egyptian troops landing on our shores.

From what I can recall, weren't they planning to hit the Sears Tower, some place in Ca and Orlando? We lucked out.
