We should have nuked that city in retaliation for what they did. I would have preferred the ancient Roman tradition, reserved for the most incorrigible enemies. Crucify all males. Enslave all women and children. Kill all animals. Raze all structures. Salt the earth so nothing will grow there for two thousand years. Kill everyone who ever had anything to do with them. Obliterate their people from the face of the Earth. Lesson to the others -- don't f*ck with us.
Actually, this is very much what I had in mind for any nations proven to be connected with the New York City Massacre on 9-11. I wanted to see their entire civilizations eradicated from the face of the earth. Kind of send a message that you kill thousands of innocent Americans only at your own risk. Go ahead and blow up discos in Germany but you kill Americans and you and your wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, cousins & etc. will pay the price.
