The latest flare-up in the Middle East is once again drawing attention to the plight of millions of destitute Palestinian living in squalid refugee camps. Arabs claim to be outraged by the Palestinians' plight, but in reality they have contributed little to the welfare of the Palestinian people.

The Palestinian refugees are the ultimate welfare handout dependents. The compassionate Left is so quick to take up their cause but will do nothing to get them resettled, given jobs and real independence. And of course lives that make a contribution instead of festering in misery and bottled up hatred waiting to explode. If you love welfare, the Palestinians are a textbook lesson in why its all wrong.

Funny how this is never reported. We provide the lions share of help for these people and they hate us for it.

Arabs Ignore Palestinians' Plight

They always have and they always will. The so-called "Palestinians" are the so-called "African-Americans" of the Middle East.

Thanks for the 'ping'...everyone should read this.

It may well describe the 'reality' of the ME, wherein, the people are pawns for the left-over dregs of the pro-Hitlerites. This may change when they ( the old guard )all die out. I, personally, doubt it given the indoctrination and the fundamentalist Islamic BS that the kids are suckled on.

I know a family of Palestinians, as I've said to them. If you guys(Palestinians) want your own country I can tell you how to get one inside of 18 months just stop killing Jews.So what's it going to be, your own country or are you going to continue to be played for chumps by the rest of the arab world?

750,000 Palestinians, representing three-quarters of the native population of Palestine

Bullshit! They weren't natives of the Land, they were migrants and the migrants' descendents attracted to Palestine by the economic revival brought by the returning natives and their heirs, i.e. the Jews.

There is no motivation for these people to seek peace or to allow any Palestinian authority of the future to live in peace with Israel. They are supported and housed now by the UN, and there is no chance that any peace settlement will make provision for continuing to maintain them. They cling desperately to the status quo. A vote for peace is a vote for their unemployment!

About those numbers, the Arabs expelled about 700,000 Jews.
These Sephardic and Mizrahi Jews are now the majority of Israel's population.

Besides, I'm sure the Hashemites, Circass, and Bedouins are quite worried about the other 95% of Jordanians who are Palestinian. Untill 1922 Jordan was the 68% of Palestine east of the Jordan river.
