There are several things taking place on this thread that I'd like to address. For instance, going into detail why Brian left isn't something Jim should do. I myself did't know all the particulars, or have forgotten some of them. I trust Jim. Brian is no longer here. He is now elsewhere, that's all I need to know. I like Brian a lot. Most of us did. I feel nothing but sorrow for Brian's departure. I know others who feel the same way, although we realize it had to be.
This is not a thread about bots and third parties. Let's be supportive of Jim and FreeRepublic and leave the side issues for better times and places.
A few interesting names have shown up on this thread. Some of you have reacted. I would ask that we not offer up insults. We all know who they are, at least the folks that need to know do. If they are offering up supportive comments here, let them.
