You're right, if Gore was President, we'd have more freedoms, as they outrage over the Patriot Act, CFR, Amnesty, etc. would be three to four times as large.
There are too many "conservatives" who think that because we have a "Republican" in the White House, everything is okay. Many actually think that our side is winning, and that everything Bush is doing and promoting is for the good of the country. What kind of nonsense is that?

I think Bush can actually believe he is a good Christian and still promote new world order. Saving babies from abortion killers is great and saving these United States 's freedom would be good, too.
