One of the local channels in the Bay Area here in No Calif had a special on the sixties the other day...I was in Santa Cruize in the old days when Ken Kesey ws hanging around there.

His Merrry Panksters supplied some wierd chemicals to the area....

They were tough on Dope in the early days of the Hippie Era. The FBI staked out the highways just to bust Kesey. And he was busted for just smoking, not selling marijuana.

I was once a guest on the Wally George show (we did a comix story about him). His studio audience smoked so much dope I actually did get a bit high just from breathing.... And, of course, the armed guard escorted me off the set when he did his inevitable kicking out of the guest...."You're OUTTA HERE!!!"

That is a damn fine group of people 'ya have there . Now that the break is on ( at least for the east coast ) , It is a riot that on my dish the " Big Media " is a ppv channel on my dish ..

Hardly do I think that I would ever see the banner on 1 of THOSE channels . Thanks for the reminder. Thank you for letting this man stay on .
