Thanks for the ping, Txbec. We know too many children medicated on Ritalin, and I think this issue is very important. The educrats are bullying parents into taking their children to the school-referred psychiatrist who (surprise, surprise!) finds that the child has ADHD and prescribes Ritalin. Glad to hear your friend found an alternative.

There is anecdotal evidence that most of the school shootings were done by students who were on Ritalin. And a kid acting out in 1st grade!?? He was BORED! The schools are too dumbed down for most kids as it is...

We will be homeschooling our kid(s) when of age.

We went through the same thing, one drug after another that just made my daughter sick and her behaviour worse. I also stopped giving her the meds and began homeschooling. What a difference!!! I can't possibly recommend public schools to anyone anymore.
