August 6, 2002 -- WASHINGTON - These dramatic satellite photos show just how far U.S. preparations for war with Iraq have advanced.
They are images of the state-of-the-art al Udeid air base in Qatar, which has been significantly upgraded over the last six months and is expected to be used as America's base for military operations against Saddam Hussein.

Dude, calm down, take a deep breath. We're going to get Iraq in due time. However, the "nuke everyone and then shoot the corpses for good measure" rant makes me glad you're not in the White House.

Russian President Vladimir Putin clinks glasses with high-ranking military officials during a meeting in the Moscow Kremlin, Monday, July 29, 2002. At Monday's Cabinet meeting, Putin said his government can meet its military reform targets if parliament passes the government's budget for next year, the Interfax news agency reported. Examine their faces, doesn't look like they came out of a budget meeting...things are indeed heating up, worldwide!

"I can't think of anything funnier than a handful of congressmen walking around. ..........", said Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld. "It's a joke." The first thing I thought was, "How about Jimmy Carter walking around looking for weapons production evidence, ala Cuba this summer?"

Non-issue.
This a is a crafty diversion from the real plan which involves B2's from Missouri followed by carrier strikejets to eliminate air defenses and bottle up Saddam's elite troops in preparation for a massive pincer invasion from Kuwait and Turkey.
God help the Iraqis.

USA has been mobilizing for 11 months, with several tech generations evolved since the "Mother of all Battles" against the world's
4th largest,
5th largest,
6th largest,
7th largest,
8th largest,
9th largest, most damaged army. Only a silly fool thinks that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11's murders. This time it is personal.
Russia knows it is in for another show, big time. For a decade, Iran has been buying hundreds of Russian, late model, main battle tanks and armor, for a possible "future" drive to save Mecca and Medina, and the Saudi oil fields, I believe to have read this summer. That may be why the man next to Putin is smirking, repeat business opportunities.
Stateless armies, such as al Qaeda/HAMASs, et al. are the fig leaves for our mortal enemy states. Modern Agent Orange operations will strip this otherwise naked aggression. Pan-Islam's theo-fascism is our enemy, supported by China and fascilitated by the U.N., IMHO.

Treason. Period. Get this bird off the air NOW, and for the foreseeable future.

Wrong! one on Tahran, and one on Mecca/Medina? is a better use of our nukes!

Back then it was the Japanese Empire. Now it is the entire Islamic world. Do you think two nukes in Iraq will stop Saudi Arabia, Iran, Syria, etc.? We've got more than 2. I see no reason not to use them on any siginificant military target.
Or would you prefer to squander the lives of our soldiers and citizens?

Gen. Tommy Franks, head of U.S. Central Command, is said to be nearing completion of a third option involving a quick-strike force of 75,000 troops aimed at separating Saddam from his armies, capturing Baghdad and preventing Iraq from launching weapons of mass destruction against U.S. troops or Israel.
