INTERNET columnist Matt Drudge would sue Alec ("Bloviator") Baldwin for slander, if he thought the former movie star had any money."My lawyer tells me what [Baldwin] said about me is actionable, but does Alec have any cash left to collect damages?" Drudge wondered.
Baldwin, upset over a recent PAGE SIX story, went on the Howard Stern radio show yesterday to vent his frustration over his moldering career and his broken marriage to Kim Basinger.
The new star of "Hollywood Squares" claimed he had a different woman every night, said he would date a 17-year-old, and would rather jump in a volcano or get put in a wood chipper than get married again. He was apparently joking.
But Drudge didn't appreciate it when Baldwin said the fedora-wearing conservative had once cruised him. "Matt Drudge hit on me in the hallway at ABC Studios in L.A. when I was doing the Gloria Allred show. He came right up to me and he looked like he had a fork and knife in each of his hands," Baldwin told listeners.
"Really? What did he say?" Stern asked.
"He [Drudge] said, 'Do you have any Tabasco sauce? . . . I want to drizzle it all over you.' "
Drudge told us: "This is a guy whose career is in turnaround, and his mind is not holding up well. I've never met Alec Baldwin. If he has fantasies about being cruised by guys . . . maybe he can star in 'Cruising Part 2: The Troll Years.' "
Baldwin, who is having trouble getting parts, tried his hand at directing last year, but his directorial debut, "The Devil and Daniel Webster," starring Jennifer Love Hewitt and Anthony Hopkins, is said to be so bad it is unreleasable. His true talent, displayed with great skill yesterday, is avoiding answering tough questions.
Discussing Baldwin's bitter divorce from Basinger, Stern said, "But she hates you."
"I really don't know," Baldwin replied.
"Of course she does," Stern pressed.
"If she did, I really wouldn't know."
Stern and his sharp-witted sidekick, Robin Quivers, failed to mention accusations that Baldwin had physically and psychologically abused his beautiful wife.
Asked if he would fight the editor of this page in a boxing match, Baldwin bragged: "A boxing match with Richard Johnson would be over in 60 seconds."
But when Stern tried to get Baldwin to say he'd be willing to step into the ring, he said, "No, because I wouldn't wanna be liable for the damages. I would beat Richard Johnson's a- - so bad."
He was joking again. But if the Bloviator ever gets serious, our challenge stands: "Anytime, anywhere."

DAD'S BURDEN
SEN. Joe Biden's daughter, Ashley Blazer Biden, 21, makes the Bush twins look like angels. The hellcat was arrested Saturday in Chicago on a charge of obstructing a police officer after one of her drinking buddies threw a bottle at a cop. When the cops went to arrest the assailant, Ashley stood in their way and made "intimidating statements," according to Officer JoAn Taylor. A rep for the Delaware Democrat refused to comment on the "private family matter."
He should have been a French admiral in Pearl Harbor! :-D
I suppose he thinks this makes him a "real man." LOL
Hmmm... is this really a quote from Alec?
I wonder what his mother thinks of his saying this. She should sue him for inflicting mental anguish.
Can't he keep his mouth shut for once? He certainly knows how to hurt someone close to him.
He could get a little lower. He could "date" a seventeen year old and sleep nights at neighborhood high school. He could even store his clothes in the janitor's closet.
Yes he does, both, mentally and physically. Just ask his ex-wife.
Sort of what we all wish Clinton would've done.
The two guys are a lot alike. Charming, but somewhat chubby, womanizers who think they should be king.
for statutory rape.
I'd love to see his mug when I link up to the registered sex offenders site.
I believe it. They only way he can get laid now is to pay for it. Hookers cost money.
Well...he hasn't done celebrity boxing yet.
