People who leave their homeland -- such as our forefathers -- do so to seek better conditions, in this case taxation strangulation and creeping socialism. These personalities are risk takers and enjoy the challenge. And because they are risk takers, they can fend for themselves without the help of Uncle Sam even when the going gets tough, hence, “yankee ingenuity.” The rest who think like you will stay home for the rest of your lives for fear of the unknown.

Please. My Irish ancestors got off the boat with two suitcases of clothes and an old set of silverware - it just sounds silly to tell me about the willingness of billionaires to get out there and fend for themselves. It's a lot easier to "fend for yourself" on granddaddy's trust fund than it was for your ancestors or mine ;)
