This is a problem that pervades the whole helicopter industry and it’s part of the USFS big overall problem. So they shut us down and we went back to running about a 10 minute flight for water.

I personaly would have had a fit, got a gun and dared them to put communities in endangerment by confining me from firefighting duties. These Forest management people need to go to jail for confinement and endangerment.

It's beyond maddening, madfly. If you get the chance tune into Lars Larson on the net from noon to 4pm pacific M-F. He has the enviro freaks on all the time and the loyal opposition. And yes, they are being cranked right our of the universities. Most of their talking points are right out of McKinney's Forest Restoration act. We have to keep an eye on that!! Just because these issues were not specifically mentioned in the constitution does NOT mean that the federal government shouldn't play a role in regulating, now does it?
