That's what I meant about the aggravation that inventors or designers are subjected to.
What I came up with has nothing to do with the safety of a firearm and I corrected one of the problems. Ruger corrected the problem in their 99/44 but I doubt they care to do it with the Mini.
The reason is that people who buy Mini's have a tendency to spray and pray. I doubt half of them are ever used on paper. They're nothing more than a plinking gun or a fifty yarder.
