Let's hope that even though the Senate chose to give Toricelli a little slap on the hand, that the electorate is harder on him.
His opponent will certainly have plenty of ammunition to use. It will just depend on whether the voters want a democrat, even if he is a crook. They have demonstrated just that in the past so ...
But we can hope.

I wouldn't hold much hope for the electorate to turn on the Torch. After all, it is New Jersey (my home)- and Jersey, I'm sorry to say, leans left most of the time.

Let's hope that even though the Senate chose to give Toricelli a little slap on the hand, that the electorate is harder on him. There was an editorial in the NY Times today that just ROASTED the Torch! Considering that paper is widely read in NJ, it didn't do anything good for him, that's for sure!
