The main reason why Toricelli will not share the same fate as Traficant is because Tom Daschle is the majority leader and he is much more worried about clinging to power than anything else. Daschle would sit back and watch the NYSE collapse if he thought it would keep him in power. Daschle would sit back and watch us lose the war on terrorism and sacrifice the lives of our soldiers if it meant he would remain the leader of the Senate.
The biggest threat to our security is not being able to defeat the RATS in Novemeber. Because if you think the attacks on GWB are terrible now.... Wait until after the November elections.
Although it is going to be ugly either way, because liberals are the most dangerous when they feel they can't control the noise that comes out of the idiot box we call a TV

Let's hope that even though the Senate chose to give Toricelli a little slap on the hand, that the electorate is harder on him.
His opponent will certainly have plenty of ammunition to use. It will just depend on whether the voters want a democrat, even if he is a crook. They have demonstrated just that in the past so ...
But we can hope.

I know. Every time I hear his little voice, it's like chalk on a chalk board. In a very soft-spoken way, he makes absolutely no sense at all!
THAT's why we MUST defeat the dems in the House and Senate in November, and then watch his soft little voice wither off into the distance. --which IMHO is STILL too close!

Daschle would sit back and watch us lose the war on terrorism and sacrifice the lives of our soldiers if it meant he would remain the leader of the Senate. As sad as that sounds .. you are 100% correct
