Fast-track was a power held by every modern president.

Not true. This perversion of the separation of powers began in 1973 with Richard M. Nixon.

Lighten up Willie, the Congress still gets to vote up or down on any legislation, they just don't get to screw it up first. Of course, if you think they SHOULD be able to screw it up first, I see your point...

The Senate can make any rules it pleases for the consideration of legislation. That does not violate the separation of powers.

You just don't like free trade, but coming up with a phony constitutional argument is beneath you.

Guess you are a little older than most of us Willie. More than half of this country wasnt born when Nixon was elected President, therefore I think a line from him forward qualifies as modern presidents. We have had seven presidents in the modern age including Nixon. Hell before Nixon, all the news film footage is black and white. Try telling a kid today that Ike or Truman were modern presidents.

Well EXCUSE ME. I guess I should have stated every president in the last quarter century. Or maybe every administration since the dawn of microcomputers, or Honda Civics, or belly-button rings. Get a grip dude.
