"Europeans have done something that no one has ever done before: create a zone of peace where war is ruled out, absolutely out," explains Karl Kaiser, director of something called the Research Institute of the German Society for Foreign Affairs in a piece in Wednesday's Chicago Tribune."

He then added, "We don't count the two wars in Bosnia and Kosovo during the 1990's, and we don't count the invasion by Morocco of Spain's Parsely Island this year, nor do we count Spain's retaking of that island with military force.

Oh, we also don't count Turkey's on-going war with the Kurds or the Greece Turkey dispute over Crete.

What we really mean is that England isn't at war with Wales and France isn't at war against Germany.

See, we Europeans really have banned all wars if you just look at it all our way!"

Editor's Note: After his medicine and therapy, we are hopeful that Karl will be able to earn his release from the asylum...

...Well, the UDF still kills people in Northern Ireland, but that isn't really a war...exactly, unless you ask them....or the IRA. And the Basque NLA is a terrorist group, so they aren't really at war with Spain. And all those riots in France and Germany, they just wanted to kill Jews, so that isn't a war, it's just .... well, normal european thinking. Now if it were in Jerusalem, then it might be a war, but not in Paris"

And I guess anything that used to be Yugoslavia is no longer part of Europe right?

Obviously, the response to all of this is "Are you on crack?" But Charles Krauthammer was more diplomatic. He said: "Right well, American simplicity liberated Europe three times in the last century. We stumbled our way around lacking Gallic sophistication, liberating your country twice from the Germans and all of Europe once from Communism."

These peens really are disconnected from reality. Who did these shallow men call when fighting erupted in the Balkans? It was the US. These people an't even handle stuff in their own backyard. Hell, even the Russians helped out and they had no money at the time.
