Another highly deceptive term is "democracy". This is special favourite of African Marxists. You will hear them lauding "democracy". The average Westerner will think that they want Western-style democracy everywhere. But a closer examination of their use of it will show you that they only regard their fellow Marxists as being "democratic". When they call for "democracy" they are really calling for the conversion of countries into "Communist Democracies". You will never hear African Marxists (like the South African government for example), ever saying that Zimbabwe is undemocratic. Never. Because they know that Mugabe is a fellow communist and so they will not criticise him (except perhaps for show to fool people).

Thanks for posting this. The bit about "democracy" applies just as well in America as South Africa. How often do you hear the likes of Jesse Jackson, or even conservatives who should know better, talk about "democracy"? And it's usually in the context of a discussion about any policy that somehow wrests away either your rights or your wallet.

I took a course, "Psychology of Speech," in 1960 and I remember the prof saying, "To the Russians the word "peace" means world domination."

He had been a Japanese POW in WWII. When we got to "Symbolism" he told about being in a cell with a lot of other POW's in horrible conditions. One day the captors threw an American flag into the cell, told the prisoners that anybody who would mop up the excrement on the floor with the flag would be let out for a good meal. "Nobody ate. We would have died first."

He was 6'4" and weighed 108 lbs. when he got out.
