Do you ever wonder what your first post was? :) It surely did not contain the words cheese, moose, all your base are belong to us, or tinfoil.

Another Class of '98 bump!
To: Bob Buchholz
You are so right. We started registering after so many idiots, arc, esquire and on and on. Jims Register date is the date we had to register.

"lowsy little intruding newbie"
Do you say that to all the new people? Charming.
To: BuddhaBoy
Nevermind PJ. He is by nature obnoxious and sarcastic.

My 4-year anniversary past with no fan fare. Drudge led me here too.
To: Ben Hecks; 1Old Pro
Yuppers! My anniversary is coming up soon too :-)
Congrats, 1 OP! Just think of the despair we would've felt without FR all these years. What a life saver!

Thanks for the ping, Sir G! This is a fun thread, seeing everybody enjoying themselves. And OneidaM, I liked your sarcasm post.

Must have been something in the water that year...Me too. And you wanna know the sweet part about it? Many of us can directly attribute our 4-year anniversary to the liberal media. Drudge had broken the Monica story on Wednesday and it was so big, the networks couldn't just ignore it. When they finally DID cover it (reluctantly), they mentioned "The Drudge Report" as their excuse. (I got the distinct impression they were trying to minimize it as "internet gossip" or something.)
If a lot of us hadn't seen the news coverage the liberal media gave Drudge that weekend for breaking the Monica story, we may never have found this place.
I for one will never forget the exact moment when I clicked on Drudge's "Whitewater" link. It was January 25th, 1998 on a Sunday night.
A VERY special thanks to
Dan Rather,
Peter Jennings, and
What's-his-name!
XOXOXOXO!!!!

A lot has happened in those 4 years.
I started lurking in April 98. Of all people to thank, it was Mike Rivero who sent me this way. I registered Sept. 9, 1998 as CitizenX. Re-registered on 2-27-2000 to change screen name. It sure has been a wild ride.
Admin Moderator: Something odd happened. I pulled up one of my old posts HERE to try that mouse over trick to see my user number. Didn't work. Then I clicked on my old name of CitizenX and it opened up my current Home Page of Mr_Magoo. Howzat happen???
To: breakem
Only banned twice. Started a new name and been a fairly good boy since. If I ever flamed you under your old names, it was probably Pardek. He used my name a few times back then. (Shhhh! He doesn't want anyone to know...)

Just wanted to tell you hi before leaving!

Long time no see!
