It started with an idea. Naked people sells. America has fed into the lie about sex and porn. Making it a daily meal. They worship sex and porn much like a religion.

There is a threat to take the soul of America and it comes from porn. Sure the terrorist wants to kill but porn kills the very soul of a people.

Now we are being attacked with porn via the internet. UnWanted emails that offer every kind of sick attack to the soul using porn and all its sickness. Or using any major search engine with just a keyword or two and Porn is opened up for all to taste. This is a major attack happening and it is slowly turning a great nation into a very very sick nation. Just read the news headlines day after day and what the porn is doing to people and their minds that they do such sick sick acts on others, innocent others.

I agree in large part and share the same concerns family-wise as yourself but I am reluctant to think of voyeurism as de facto addictive. I realize that some folks live out fantasies on the net via chatrooms and porn but I think by and large that is the province of those poor souls who can't get satisfaction through customary channels....many are plain lonely. Note I said by and large...I'm sure there is a Ted Bundy born everyday and we certainly have the culture to nurture him unfortunately.

As for teenage boys and curiosity. I don't think one can stop that completely. Just make sure they know reality from fantasy. All girls don't get naked for money nor do all look like Playmates....I think a lad can peruse Playboy without losing respect for women. I think MTV and the behavior of more than a few young women I've seen is as big a threat to that lack of respect as porn....

Oh - teenage boys will just about always find a way (much easier now) to get their pics of naked women. But with the Web, more and more (we see this at our Church) young and older men are getting hooked on really perverse stuff. I think it's like alcoholism. Some just can't stop once they're into it. As for the behavior of women on MTV - we're getting into skanksville there.
