Many folks will be uncomfortable about that. They believe that homosexuals tend to prey on children. The late Ann Landers said that wasnt true. According to the American Psychological Association, "There is no evidence indicating that homosexuals are more likely than heterosexuals to molest children." How about the fact that a minority of priests in the Catholic Church (homosexuals) have brought about 95% of the molestation cases in the Church's sexual scandal, virtually all against teenage boys? The numbers speak for themselves.

Is BBBSA trying to avoid the fate endured by the Boy Scouts? Actually, thought the Boy Scouts have been through hell, it's an organization that's emerging stronger, freer, with more support from private donors and organizations. Boy Scouts is growing dramatically in our area. It's one place where teenage boys are relatively safe from homosexual indoctrination, men who model homosexual behavior, and from homosexual molestation.

Whats especially problematic is that parents wont even be told if their child is affected by the new rule. Right. They want you to send your son out with a flaming gay, and for you not to even know. Parents will quietly abandon this program if they persist.

For a sizable majority of gay men, sexual relations with children are viewed as morally appalling, and the adult practitioners of it are seen as pathological deviants. That's good, if true. But the Catholic mess makes it clear that a sizeable percentage of homosexual men have a strong sexual attraction to teenage boys.

A key finding in the FRC analysis is that homosexual men, while making up a very small percentage of the population, commit almost one-third of total child sexual abuse. As is confirmed by the Catholic homosexual priest / teenage boy rape scandal.

Does anyone have Big Brothers Big Sisters email address so it can be posted and we can send them letters??

I had a friend in college whom I respected for donating his time to be a Big Brother. Later on I discovered that he was gay. Granted, this is a sample of one, and my college friend may have been a perfectly good and respectable mentor, but nonetheless, ...ick.

According to the American Psychological Association, "There is no evidence indicating that homosexuals are more likely than heterosexuals to molest children." There being so many more heterosexuals than homosexuals, maybe this is true.
But heterosexual child molesters are not a political constituency!

In the pre-web 1970's (therefore no link) a NYC Big Brother went to the clink for pederasty. He used BB to find victims.

Let me see if I have this right. You take a youth in crisis, great or small, and you hook him up with a potential sexual predator. Then you stand back and see what happens. Who was the genius that thought this one up?
