such skills do not extend to Republicans in the United States Senate who seem to enjoy being punching bags for their Democrat colleagues. Who was the Republican senator on O'Reily last night talking about not getting on the wrong side of "my charimain"? He was talking about Fritz Hollings, Dem from SC. He sounded so lilly-livered, I was waiting for him to switch parties on the spot.

I saw that....it was Conrad Burns of Montana. He was embarrassingly weak.
My hubby had to keep me from throwing things at the television.

I saw that too. MamaLucci helped us both remember in post #28. That "wrong side of my chairman" thing said a lot about what is wrong in the Senate: too much back scratching and too few spines.
