Tulsa - An eight month old baby raped last month is now with foster parents after being released from the hospital.
8-Month-Old Rape Victim Released From Hospital The child suffered broken ankles, pelvis and had other injuries after the incident, which happened in her Henryetta home on July 26th.
The child's parents say they were sleeping in the next room.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is investigating, but have made no arrests in the case.
Evidence from a rape kit is being analyzed at an Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation laboratory, agency spokeswoman Kym Koch said Monday. "We don't know how much information we'll get from that now", Koch said.
Why wouldn't rape kit have been analyzed immediately? Why would they not think they could get much info now? Is this purposeful disinformation to keep the suspected perv from running?
