Yes! that would make me feel great, but I am worried about not getting all the oil off the generator. I am wondering if I should really wash it down or avoid using much water. I washed it with damp rags and paper towels. I got most of the oil, but I know there is more in the little nooks and crannies. >( I Can not believe I did that! Duh! The roses are beautiful, btw! I love roses! :)

Hmmm someone may correct me. (if I am wrong DO SO), but I would wash it down good to get the oil off and then let it dry completely.

If you don't get the oil off anyplace it's going to get hot, you're going to have smoke. Is that going to get into the MH?

Is there enough oil left that you run the danger of a fire?

If the generator is on the outside, you might be able to go to a do-it-yourself carwash and spray it down with a degreaser.

Otherwise, I'm not sure what I'd do...

Misty,

Spray the entire area with Engine Degreaser, then hose it off after a few minutes. Park the RV so that compartment is in the sun to dry completely before starting it again.

NOTE: Be sure no water gets inside the generator engine! AND check the oil level in the Gen.
