If you don't get the oil off anyplace it's going to get hot, you're going to have smoke. Is that going to get into the MH?
Is there enough oil left that you run the danger of a fire?
If the generator is on the outside, you might be able to go to a do-it-yourself carwash and spray it down with a degreaser.
Otherwise, I'm not sure what I'd do...

Yes, that is what I was afraid of. It is inside a compartment but has good drain holes....problem is it is hard to see into the back side of it, but I really don't think much got into the back area. Most of it in in the front part and on the carburetor and underneath the unit. It is in it's own metal compartment.

It is in the back of the motorhome, btw (winnebago class A) with it's own muffler (like that's gonna help me! :))
